NESTOR MENENDEZ
A Commissioner who will fight for families, and the residents of Coral Gables.
Nestor Menendez is running for Coral Gables Commissioner with a clear mission: restore civility at City Hall, put families and residents first, and strengthen the community values that make Coral Gables the City Beautiful.
As a University of Miami–trained attorney and longtime resident with deep, multigenerational roots in Coral Gables, Nestor brings a record of service - not politics. He has served on both the Planning and Zoning Board and the Charter Review Committee, approaching each role with transparency, fairness, and a focus on what’s best for residents.
Nestor believes public service starts with listening. From his early days playing Pop Warner football at the Youth Center to raising his twin daughters here today, his life has always revolved around this community. He understands what families expect: safe neighborhoods, responsible growth, strong communication from their leaders, and a city that protects its traditions while building a better future.
Nestor is committed to ensuring Coral Gables remains the best place to raise a family — a city defined by excellence, respect, and a government that works for its residents.
